A New Garden is Taking Shape Opposite Entre l'église et la place

One of Quillan's newest public spaces is beginning to take shape directly opposite Entre l'église et la place on Rue de l'Église.
The project is creating a modern landscaped garden designed as an "îlot de fraîcheur" (cool green oasis) in the heart of the historic town centre. When complete, it will provide attractive planting, shaded seating and a relaxing place for both residents and visitors to enjoy.
Work is still continuing, but the main steel canopy has now been installed and the central feature is becoming visible. A large circular stone structure has been constructed beneath the canopy, which is expected to become the focal point of the new garden once landscaping is complete. The municipality has not yet released details of the finished design.
Being located directly opposite Entre l'église et la place, guests will have this attractive new public space just a few steps from the front door.
